We have a variety of rental bikes for visitors to the Kinross area whether you're looking to go on an electric bike,  mountain bike ride or just cruise the  Loch Leven Heritage Trail with the family, we have the bike for you.  And you can take the kids along with a trailer or trail-a-bike!

All bicycle rentals are equipped with a frame pump, a seat bag with a spare tube, tyre levers and a patch kit.  Helmets and cable locks are also provided at no extra charge!

 

The Sandpiper is our the electric road bike rental model but we have conventional bikes available for rental as well.

Rental Rates 

eBike: ½ Day £20            Full Day £35        Week (7 days) £210             

Road/Mountain Bike: ½ Day £15            Full Day £25        Week (7Days) £140

Child Trailers/Trail-a-bikes £10 p/day

Morning hire will run from 9am until 12.30pm

Afternoon hire will run from 1pm until 4.30pm

All hire bikes must be returned by 12.30pm or 4.30pm depending on when you hired the bike, so they can be washed and checked over ready for the next day or afternoon hire

When collecting the bike, we will ask to retain either a valid credit / debit card and photo ID in the form of a driving licence or passport (no other forms of ID will be accepted). These will be securely stored until the return of the eBike and an assessment from the eBike Centre staff.

A helmet is provided with every hire ebike and, although not compulsory yet, we strongly urge all our customers to wear one.

Signing of the hire agreement agrees liability for damages to the bikes that render them inoperable (this includes punctures). We strive to be fair in assessing any damages and will only ask for costs at trade prices. We don't seek to profit from damages; merely get the bike back on the fleet.

So if you think that's not too bad come down to the shop and we'll get you sorted out with a bike for the day.

Special Offer: If you hire a bike then decide that you want one, we'll deduct the hire cost off the price of the bike.  That can't be a bad thing surely!
