For instance, many imported bikes (especially from China) use a frame designed for the Chinese adult and therefore tend to be somewhat on the cramped side for Europeans.  If you happen to see an electric bicycle for sale in Scotland at a normal bike shop, have a look at it and you'll see the frame is actually quite small.

The frames of our bikes and especially the Kingfisher model were manufactured to European standards to specifically suit European adult sizes. The bikes themselves also comply with what we in the West have come to expect in quality standards as well.
